Back in Stock Alerts requires custom development on a Catalyst storefront.

The built-in storefront sign-up experience targets BigCommerce Stencil themes. Catalyst is a Next.js storefront framework and does not use that Stencil integration.

For Catalyst, build the customer-facing form in your storefront and submit it to the Create alert request API. The API page describes the required product, channel, currency and customer fields.

After implementation, test both a simple product and a product variant, then confirm the requests appear in Viewing alert requests.
