Data residency and security

Back in Stock Alerts processes customer contact details and product-interest data. Hypa reviews the safeguards around this information as the application and its providers change.

Data residency​

The application and its primary data are hosted on Heroku in Ireland.

Notification emails sent through the default delivery method use SendGrid. SendGrid is based in the United States and protects transferred personal data under its applicable data-protection commitments.

If your organisation has specific residency requirements, email support@hypaapps.com before enabling the app.

Security controls​

Back in Stock Alerts data is encrypted at rest. Access to application hosting is protected with two-factor authentication and governed by Hypa's company-wide security policies.
